Despite being an avid fisher-person in the USA, I never wet a hook in my three years living in C.R. However, I know that the ocean commercial fishing fleet charges quite a bit per person per trip, so the economics would seem to point towards there being available fish to catch. I also know the freshwater holds the Peacock Bass which grows larger than our common Large Mouth Bass and is known for being a hard-hitting, hard-fighting fish. I believe they exist in Lake Arenal which I have been to many times, but I simply never prioritized fishing. I did however, drive my 1974 diesel Toyota Landcruiser all over the no-wheres of Costa Rica and especially Lake Arenal.

The LGBTQ+ community exists as an umbrella organization with an overall goal of getting ourselves our human rights. There is strength in numbers and strength in unity. There is no reason to do otherwise. It was basically the T community that started the fight for rights at places such as the Stonewall Lodge where we were certainly very happy to have the support of others who relate to gender and sexuality outside the norms of the cishet community.

I'm a trans woman and no matter what I do or say others put me in one of the LGB categories. If I hang out with my ex wife people see lesbians. Some men think flirting with me will turn them gay. Because I've had female and later male partners many see me as Bi and I find it all rather queer. I'm a one woman LGBTQ group. Having the umbrella organization saves me money on membership dues.
