The students talked about Parkland and their respect for the students protested after the shootings but was very sad because they had been denied organizing their Monday protests to meet. The students were finally given the green light for their demonstration at the high school on Friday. “We should not have our rights because someone else did something wrong,” Deaton said at the event. “We are protecting the Second Amendment and should not be violated.” Student organizers say they have received great support for their rally, including from some of Parkland students who watched the rally online. I really don’t understand that. My rights don’t end where your feelings begin shirt. What issues does that apply to? I’m not here to defend liberalism, I’d just like to know. It applies to the idea of victimless crimes. Whenever you feel something shouldn’t be legal even though there are no victims is an issue this quote applies to. For example, if you feel drugs harder than marijuana should be illegal. You are attempting to take away my right to do what I wish with my own body. But that seems like a much more conservative thing than a liberal thing. I may be wrong, but I’ve always felt that conservatives were much more against legalization than liberals. And the states that have legalized marijuana favor the democratic party
