Today at Crossroads, I was absolutely floored to hear the sermon was about parenting and re-dos, from Dr. Purvis’s Book, which we use in class! They even showed the behavior tree! Talk about confirmation! Just this week my parent accused me of “victimizing” my kids, just for trying EXACTLY what I’m learning in the books and classes. #Gaslighting. #ButGod. #Yahweh brought the truth right into the pulpit. Now - Reject THAT. If that sounds like an “I told ya so,” it IS! Now that the gaslighting tactics can’t be used against me as a wife, we’ve moved on to berating my parenting skills. I am up with freaking fever sore throat and ear ache since last. This is not good timing we leave for camping tonight I've gotta pack clean and prepare not today Satan leave me be meds and loads of fluids hopefully it was just from yelling and the heat at field day yesterday. Insanity Max 30: Not today Satan sweatshirt!!! So we have been without an air conditioner for several days now. The only thing we have is one lone window unit in the living room of our 1980 trailer with some fans. When you live in South Louisiana that is rough. Well, it’s just been one thing after another and I have been pretty discouraged. However, today I put on my “Not Today Satan” headband and decided I would not let it defeat me. With that said, the Lord provided a rainy cloudy day for which I am thankful!
My baby graduated 8th grade !!! Sorry I couldn’t make the after celebration Strep is no joke. It’s not as strong as my love for you, saw my baby walk up and claim that diploma !!! Not today Satan, LOL!!! Love you soooo very much Chacha!!! I’m very proud of you
