Assuming I'm Just An Old Lady Was Your First

Today's Halloween Festival originated from the Celtic people, a people living more than 2,000 years ago in what is now Great Britain, Ireland and northern France. The Celtic people begin the new year on November 1 of the solar calendar. A festival was celebrated on the eve of the New Year in honor of the deceased chieftain Samhain. This festive day heralds the start of the cold season, of dark days often associated with the decline and death of mankind. The Celts believe that Samhain will allow souls of the dead to return home to earth that night.
