Because the Area 51 thing is sarcasm and the desire to watch other people fail and have something to laugh at.
Planning to storm border detention centers takes more courage than many of us have. And on a realistic level, I’m a stay at home mother of 3 who lives thousands of miles from these detention centers. There’s no practical way for me to do that if I wanted to.
