I love this Charlie don’t Surf Apocalypse now Vietnam war shirt AND the smell of napalm in the morning. Greatest (anti) war movie ever! Back in the day, edgy kids were wearing shirts with Charles Manson’s face on them. Below the black & white photo was the quote “CHARLIE DON’T SURF!” The quote was from an iconic scene from the Vietnam War film- “Apocalypse Now”. Ironically enough, there was a time in the late 60’s when Manson was in the process of recording an album with the help of a couple members of the Beach Boys but nothing ever came of the collaboration. Maybe if Charlie DID surf, the murders which followed would have never occurred.
