n so far as you don&t have to worry about buying new things, but currently I have too many material things and it making me uphappy.It is not like am a hoarder that you see on those TV shows, but a few years baack there was an earthquakee in my village and my wife and I went around to all the houses that were being torn down and collected a lot f historical antiques that would just bee burned.Most of it we gave to a museum, but a lot of it is still in my house.That and the fact that I split with my wife, and a lot of her stuff is still in the house, and my new partner moved in later and brought all of her stuff, my daughter left a lot of toys that she had outgrown, so now I have ten pepel’ worth of stuff in my house. It takes up an entire room literally, there is no room to walk and get something from the back even if I wanted it.Not to mention I am a bike guide so I have fifteen bikes and no place to store them so they fill my basement and my hallway.My partner and I both have cars - hers is small, mine is a large van which I used to use for work before Corona. Now it just sits there. I canclled insurance on it because I no longer need it until visitors are allowed back into Japan, but I still have to pay tax for it and the bi-annual check-up, so that costs money I do not have.
