How long has it been since you have gotten your first COVID shot?

 How long has it been since you have gotten your first COVID shot? If it has been two weeks that helps with your immunity. Are you usually around your family that would be going on this long car trip? l mean is this your parents and siblings that are going? I have taken long car trips with my husband and my mother-in-law. The three of us live in our house. No problems because we wore masks (N95) the entire trip. Since we own pets and I really do not like leaving the dogs or cats behind, I understand you want to stay with the pet that does need the complex care. Plus long trips do get boring. I not a fan of our trips between Fort Worth and Savannah, ga because that is a 17 hour stop not counting getting gas and stopping for park walking and restroom relief. I use to live in Northern Virginia with my parents in Texas. Suffice it to say I did not get pregnancy support from my immediate family unless it was over the telephone. Just phone calls alone were enough for me because I was busy working full time and graduate school. So, it would be OK to feel some guilt but stay with the pup. You can talk with your sister over the cell phone and can send a card or two via snail mail. Like I said, I was pregnant and did not expect my family to drive that long trip. You can forget about dad flying anyway at all. Not exactly a cheap trip as well and he had two herds of cattle that had to be taken care of.
