As muslims think cats are clean, seriously cats stink like hell, cats lick their own private parts, and muslims claim that if a cat eat their food it is okay to eat, ewwwww disgusting and Islam never asked one to do thing kinda disgusting thing. Any animals you pet, they would be stinky or smell eventually, so, Cleaning them is what recommended in Islam. Do not bring them into your house because any animals or pets you keep inside your house can easily transfer their disease towards you, better to put them outside by having a right and better place for them to stay like cages, mini houses, etc etc.
Islam never asked one to hate whatever creation of Allah, it only asked you to follow Allah's order, Allah never claimed that the dogs are najaasah, and the Prophet Sallallah alayhe wa sallam ( PBUH) himself have never said that. If you love any creation of Allah, Allah will love you. Allah alam ( God know better). I always skip fatawas of Scholars, if they come and say Haraam, i would ask them “ Go join ISIS kill others in the name of Jihaad but you are not following Islam because Islam never asked one to kill others".
