Well, put. We make this harder than it needs to be. Pig Merry Christmas shirt. Say Merry Christmas when you are celebrating Christmas yourself and you’re hoping someone else enjoys it. Say Happy Holidays when you’re covering the entire season or a broad audience of people. If you’re feeling defensive and angry that you’re not saying “Merry Christmas”, maybe that will come across if you say it. My pastor says “Merry Christmas” like he’s saying “Screw you, buddy!” and as a result people in our local grocery store kind of find him obnoxious.

Nobody would really care what he said, but saying it with defensiveness makes it sound unloving. This is exactly the spirit that she is operating in. She’s not thinking that people will attack her but rather trying to be inclusive of everyone in a simple way. This is my issue because I’m overly sensitive to PC and I need to get over it. Not worth the fight with my wife. Definitely worth prayer and introspection over where this wrenching feeling comes from when I encounter PC language.

Pig Merry Christmas shirt.  It’s a whole season of festivities that includes more than just Christmas. So, Happy Holidays has always made more sense to me. Even if you disagree though, I can’t imagine this would be worth arguing about. The most typical source of these feelings is the voices that people are allowing to speak into their lives. There are a lot of voices in our culture right now that are invested in sowing divisions between people; they seek to create us vs them mentality and push narratives that not only encourage you to see whole groups of people as “other” but also encourages you to feel as if you are supposed to be at war with those others.

If you’re allowing voices like those to speak into your life, don’t be surprised at the bad fruit that grows from it. Pig Merry Christmas shirt. Of course, you would feel like political correctness is an attack on your values and that would cause you anger since you’ve been letting voices that preach that speak into your life. I don’t know if that’s where this anger comes from in your case but I’ve seen it in many others. First, it’s not PC language as someone spelled it out, it’s meant to take multiculturalism into consideration. People will get what it means if you wished them a Merry Christmas.
