The crown over R symbol is a Belgian proof mark, Bulldog Pocket Shirt, which is expected of a Bulldog revolver, as they were commonly copied by Belgian manufacturers, based mostly around Liege. That particular mark was adopted in 1894, giving us a terminus post quem, before which it would be impossible for the revolver to have been manufactured. the AE might be a manufacturer’s mark, but the issue with these revolvers is that they were the ARs of their day: everybody copied the same basic design and every two-bit machinist in Germany, Belgium, and Spain were making them out of their own 5-10 man shops.

These look like Velo Dog style revolvers, not really used in military and probably not used by the Foreign Legion. They’re typically carried by civilians or police. It’s so obvious now. My father used to collect military artifacts and I never got to ask him where these came from. Maybe the French Foreign Legion? Thanks. I would argue that a. j-frame/LCR is the only revolver that makes any sense whatsoever as a CCW, and most would argue even that statement. Any bigger than that and the debate gets a little ridiculous- for example, 6-7 rds of 357 vs 16 rds of 9mm in a smaller package.

Had to convert from. 357 so the rounds could fit through my revolver’s magazine well. And in past the pawl into the back of the cylinder. As soon as I get more access to a mill I’m converting to Glock mags. I’ll have to upgrade to 9×23 Winchester to get enough gas pressure to operate a small slide to get rounds off the mag and into the cylinder. I plan to use 100gr slugs so I can keep OAL near 9×19’s max so I can use 26/19/17 family mags instead of 10mm family. 33rd happy stick plus 5 in the cylinder would make it officially the most tactical cowboy gun of all time, period, end of discussion. Haha, that’ll be awesome. You should definitely make a few more videos on it. As far as I know, there’s only one where you show it working?

Which Judge do you have, Bulldog Pocket Shirt? barrel and chamber length? How has it been? problems?. Any cylinder lockup? How is it w Federal Buck and .45 Colt? Cool, well, I don’t think that is totally true. For many people, a PDX first round could make sense. Then followed by 2 rounds of Federal 000, then last two Barnes 200 gr. The Federal 000 does not joke, 800 fps out of Governor… Maybe 775 out of yours Just picked up an LCD in 9mm for pocket carry after being completely dissatisfied with every auto. Never thought it would come to a wheel gun but here we are.
