I didn’t really get that from your post. Will I be good after this?  That being said, I feel like they’re both so niche that I’d be slightly disappointed to see them get in over more relevant characters. Geno especially feels so weird to me. I can guarantee most of the outcry for him is coming from people that never even played his game, just people hopping on the hype train. I’d feel kind of cheated out of a cooler character if we got Geno over a more relevant Square Enix character. Same for Isaac, id wants someone less niche.

Not trying to hate on either choice, but that’s just my view on things. Twas the Fortnite before Christmas Shirt. Honestly, this kinda poll doesn’t make much sense since of course, the characters that are the most talked about / speculated right now will end up at the top. People are scared they might take the spot over their favorite. Exactly, if you take a look at youtube’s videos about smash, for example, it’s always the same predictions (Geno Isaac Skull Isabelle …) It’s really boring to watch and I understand some people might be tired of that. The more popular a character gets the more hate he gets too, it’s a double edge sword. I agree that characters that are most talked about are more susceptible to scrutiny, but I think that these are still honest results, since Banjo & Kazooie is one of the more talked about characters, yet he’s the least disliked newcomer here. I don’t see your point. Voting is a big deal.  That other countries don’t want you to obtain Canadian citizenship without renouncing theirs is really not Canada’s problem. As a citizen of that country, you should do the lobbying.

As a PR you pay taxes. All of them. Twas the Fortnite before Christmas Shirt. You own property, you work, you pay/get EI and CPP, you’re entitled to all benefits including ODSP, OW, the child benefit etc. You have a Canadian driver’s license. My point is many who are PR are more invested than those who only spend 6 months a year here just to keep their OHIP. Voting should be based on residency, just like our taxes and other benefits are. That’s my point. You live here, you’re affected by it. Why should a citizen who’s spent the last 20 years living overseas and has no investment in what happens to get a say, but someone who’s been here 20 years working and contributing get none? That’s a different issue entirely. Of course, it’s infuriating when people do the bare minimum to obtain citizenship, essentially only for the benefits, the passport brings, as we saw during Lebanon’s evacuation of “Canadians” in 2006. That’s not true. Here in Ontario, up until 1988 citizens of the UK, South Africa, Australia, India, and Pakistan had the right to vote in municipal and provincial elections.

Fortunately, I can have dual citizenship, but if I couldn’t, I’d sure as hell think twice about renouncing my former one because I have parents and siblings in the “old country”. Some countries will even require you to get a visa just to go visit your family. You’re talking like someone who has never faced choices like this and let me tell you, they’re not easy. What’s your problem? You’re telling a productive member of society that has been living here for 10 years to leave the country because they’re a bit more international than you? Good job on those Canadians values, buddy! how does one choose who to vote for as far as any of the school board candidates? half of mine have no link to a website or platform.
