I can’t speak for Bethesda but when I got FO4 (I had never played an FO game before this) I knew most of the songs and could. Is This Jolly Enough Shirt. The ID which ones were not the original recordings or re-recordings by other artists. I know that stuff because it’s what my parents listened to when I was young, and I just kinda never stopped. I’m assuming they have someone like me who would just pick some of their favorites, with favorite versions. For example say you like the song “It’s the End of the World” which version? Skeeter Davis, or Brenda Lee?

Almost every well know the song is like that. There weren’t many songs that I didn’t know off the top of my head, though they choose some versions I don’t prefer. That said I’ll shake my fat ass to Skeeter Davis or Brenda Lee. Still good songs.  Yep. I have the 1957 Kernel one. There are none available online. I had the idea to call around underground record stores in Louisville, where the record itself was made. The owner of one directed me to a friend of his that might have had one, and I ended up getting a VG+ copy from a friend of that friend.

I’m in Louisiana, and it took me the better part of an afternoon and $50, but I still have it. And of course, Cole Porter and Anything Goes. According to the CD liner notes, he should have stuck to composing. FUckin’ dedication, my dude. I have only a few Fallout songs and a couple others that are the same song but by a different artist. I’m super envious of your collection. And I love 78’s. When I was shopping for a new record player, the ability to play at 78rpm was one of my requirements. A lot of the entry-level turntables don’t do it. The downside is that I don’t have a proper 78 needle yet. Alas.

Hey! I also have been collecting this vinyl and would love to share my collection sometime. Is This Jolly Enough Shirt. I left them all at home but I’ll be sure to take some pictures when I get home. Did you happen to post something like this previously? Bob Crosby did make a lot of recordings on 78s a lot of which got transferred to vinyl. He is Bing’s less famous brother after all. Apparently “Big Noise from Winnetka” inspired the whistling used in the Ed, Edd n Eddy theme song. However, these Fallout songs don’t seem to have existed outside of the transcription records. I suspect these songs were only included in Fallout because they were digitized and released on the CD Bob Crosby and the Bobcats: The Complete Standard Transcriptions.

Incredible work. I’m mightily jealous! I’m from the UK, so collecting the transcription discs is practically impossible, and even importing original US pressings of commercial recordings can be costly. Is This Jolly Enough Shirt. For the most part, I just purchase British pressings if the alternative is there. I’d certainly like to delve into Gerhard Trede’s library, given how several of his recordings featured in New Vegas as well as in 3.  For the most part, the UK pressings are 1 to 1 to the US pressings. US Decca is Brunswick in the UK (or also Decca). This is most of the Ink Spots catalog. “Civilization” of course is spelled “Civilisation”.

Red and gold US Columbia are blue and silver UK Philips. Anything RCA Victor-related is usually the UK His Master’s Voice (HMV). I’ve got a UK HMV pressing of Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” with a flip side of “You’re the Top”. In the US on a black and gold scroll Victor, the songs are on different records. Go figure. 78s usually are a bit cheaper than vinyl mostly because there isn’t much interest in them, but I’ve alas only had a couple of days experience in London.  Sinatra recorded it in 1960 which is a testament to how the song and genre can be adapted and arranged through the decades.

However, don’t knock the home-grown talent. Is This Jolly Enough Shirt. Billy Munn, Allan Gray, and Sid Phillips did a lot of work for the British dance bands and the nascent film industry. Apparently, the British light music tradition led to the strong library music label presence there including the famous KPM library. I had to import their library music 78s from the UK courtesy of the Brull Harmonic music label. I would like to request that you update them with the details about the music.
