I know better than thousands of doctors. Mercury Merry Christmas Shirt. Have I known an individual doctor to be wrong? Fuck yeah. It’s caused me harm on multiple occasions. ALL the doctors saying “do this thing to keep your kid, and those around him, from potential harm”? Fuck yeah, I’ll listen to that. Especially over some bullshit Facebook article. The vaccine-autism link has been discredited by actual scientific studies. The CDC website has the information. If I remember right, I believe that the doctor who made that claim in the first place was discredited and his work shown to be pretty much junk science. I could have sworn he had his medical license removed, as well.

Yes, now that you’ve said it, I think they did revoke his license. Mercury Merry Christmas Shirt. He was thoroughly exposed as a fake, though anti-vaxxers still claim it was just a conspiracy to keep him quiet, despite the tons of other studies showing how totally wrong he was. The former doctor is named Andrew Wakefield. All of the other researchers and medical professionals who were involved in the study have completely and utterly revoked their claims and any connection to it. Funnily enough, Andrew Wakefield was not trying to start an anti-vaxxer movement.
