This is most likely due to the fact that I recently added some CSS for table styling. We needed a calendar to the sidebar of the desktop version of the subreddit and since it is a dark background I needed to make it a light color (aka white). I will see if I can add separate styling to fix this issue within the next few days. If not then I will find a way to style it so it is still readable for all instances of any tabling. As some of them were pretty nuanced/situational to a particular scene/dialogue, and thus were fleeting appreciations.  This was a really rough recalling, and not as satisfying as I want my impression posts to be. I want to dig more into the gems in this show, rather than just leave you guys with shallow thoughts that don’t hold much substance or hype. Next post will definitely try to be more focused. (But I still won’t neglect to share the full range of my thoughts, even if they’re trivial, just because I know some people enjoy that as well!). I’m still anxious for later seasons, I think most people’s favorite seasons start after Stardust Crusaders finishes. And if they keep up the type of pace they are… it’s crazy to imagine where things will be in the later seasons!

Never the less, curious to read more of this story! Agreed on all counts. I like the basic premise and I’m going to continue reading, but the idea of a receptionist accompanying a police investigation — and being left on her own with no supervision to the extent that she was able to remove an object from a crime scene and potentially compromise an investigation — really stretching plausibility on this one.

Just a guess,  but maybe cos that 18yo was the only person who knew what “blondie” looks like since the security tapes and everything was taken? I’ve heard it described more of a public suicide. Terrorism is generally about ideology, and end goal, a bigger picture. The suicide is about someone who feels hurt and wants others to suffer like they feel they do before taking their own life.
